ABOUT ME

Hey! Welcome to my get away space.

I’m Iqra and I’m 22 year old fashion and beauty lover from the U.K! I blog, I influence, and I create content for brands.

Because of my somewhat unhealthy obsession and passion, I’ve created this space just to connect with you! Bringing you all my latest on fashion and beauty, with honest yet informed advice and reviews.

I also give out little tips and tricks on beauty, that can always be found quickly via my Instagram page @styledinsepia.

I  do an occasional take on modest fashion, switching up my style to inspire people and portray that real style can be done fully covered. By all means, nobody is perfect, but individuality is what has always separated me from everyone else.

Some things you may like to know about me:

My skin is normal, with oily areas in my t-zone, and dry areas between my brows and sides of nose.

My skin tone is medium, with heavy yellow undertones and slightly olive. The best foundation shades matched to my skin tone are the NARS Sheer Glow in Stromboli and MAC NC30/35.

I hope you all enjoy taking a look through my lens and don’t be afraid to get in touch using the contact form or direct e-mailing me at styledinsepia@gmail.com.

Lots of love,

Iqra x

    Hey IQRA,

I found you on instagram and I wanted to tell tell you that your such an inspiration. I’m really interested in blogging because I enjoy writing and telling others my thoughts on things. I read some of your tips but I was wondering what website you used to start your blog? Also, if your blog was a self-hosted blog or a normal one because I didn’t get what the difference was.

      Hey Hanna,

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m so glad you stopped by ❤️. I currently use WordPress.org as its much easier for me to manage without needing to do too much with it. I started off as a normal one on the WordPress.com website, but changed to self-hosted last year because I wanted to use things like Google Adsense and my own Plugins. WordPress.com limits you in those terms, but is a good place to start if you are looking to just blog a normal diary for example. Reviews people tend to search for and read so if you’re going to do product reviews etc, the self-hosted will be a good option. The only thing that sucks with self-hosted is there are a few costs to consider, but I managed to cover those now, so I can pay them off. They include things like, using WordPress platform, website domain name, website domain host (it gets complicated, so try to do your research prior). Hope this has helped! ❤️
